Seems very strange that the manufacturer would not want to advertise a product that they sell.
Is there some problem with it?

Well just to update everyone...
Thanks very much to @Horst, I also managed to get video acceleration working (finally!) by installing Ubuntu 24.10 and Wayland.
That was a saga in itself, since the ****ing installer kept crashing for some bizarre reason. I finally managed to get it to run after N ...

Linux Mint or Ubuntu LTS did not work for me neither.
I then tried the latest Ubuntu available:
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 24.10
Release: 24.10
Codename: oracular
Kernel Version: 6.11.0-21-generic
This correctly detected the graphics driver.

Graphics acceleration in Linux
Hi folks
Just took delivery of this very impressive little box. Everything is working fine apart from one thing. I just CANNOT get graphics acceleration to work under Linux at all, so all video is very choppy - unwatchable in fact.
I have tried Mint and Ubuntu latest versions and various kernels ...
