Wow, a laptop! Just a few weeks ago, I was searching to see if AceMagician made a laptop; I guess I was too early.

That looks really cool and tempting to jump onto. Good luck to anyone who qualifies to test this one out. Having the N95 processor that some of these mini pcs has, it'll be lower on the power consumption. But having 16GB of RAM and a 512GB drive is really nice for a portable system.

A few observations about the Amazon link to the laptop.
First, it's showing reviews for the tiny T8 system. I'm not sure why, maybe they reused the item?
Second, it shows up as AceMagic, not AceMagician - maybe that's a new branding?
Third, there's a 50% off coupon and 25% off coupon that can be stacked - I was able to add it to my cart and get it marked down from the highly overpriced $1200, down to $300. That's an insane discount!

They often reuse Amazon listings for new products. Because of this, you'll often see reviews for a different product than what's showing in the current listing.

I think it's a new name for the new line. In every line on the page where the brand is stated it's ACEMAGIC, and it shows that on the lid in the pictures as well.

That discount!!! 😲 I thought the price was really high as well, but trying the same thing you did brought it down to $300 for me as well. The specs are actually a lot better than you'd expect for a laptop of $300, and the size is nice too. If I was a laptop person I might actually try it.

I agree, Gabe, it's tempting for that price. I don't need a laptop right now, although my current personal system is from 2017 and won't officially support Windows 11 (I don't mind, I still don't care for 11 as much). For someone to get it on the Superuser review program, that'd be pretty sweet.

Things I would wonder - 512GB of storage is pretty nice, but is it NVMe or SATA? Can it be upgraded? I upgraded my personal lappy to 1TB so anything less is a step down. 16GB of RAM is good for a system like this, and I wouldn't think it needs any more, but I wonder if it's upgradable as well.
